The rules of the road.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of scouted4you.com and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Guides are sold as digital products. Prices and currency are shown at checkout. Once a guide is delivered to your account, you acknowledge that you waive the right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive for digital content already supplied.

If a guide is materially inaccurate or unusable, contact us within 14 days and we'll review for a refund.

Scouts retain ownership of the guides they publish and grant scouted4you a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and sell them on the platform. Payouts, fees, and tax treatment are described in the Scout Agreement presented during onboarding.

Scouts warrant that their content is original, accurate to the best of their knowledge, and does not infringe third-party rights.

You agree not to:

• Resell or redistribute purchased guides.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically download the Service.
• Upload content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property.
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, security controls, or rate limits.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent local expertise.

The platform, brand, and underlying software are owned by scouted4you. Guide content is owned by the respective scouts. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership; you receive only the licences explicitly granted.

Guides describe activities, places, and routes that may carry risk - weather, terrain, wildlife, and changing local conditions. Always use your judgement, follow local rules, and consult certified guides for high-risk activities. The Service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, scouted4you is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
